This plug-and-play device consists of a Base Unit and a Remote Unit that can be connected using a network cable. Simply connect your cable to each unit and then connect the units to the USB port on your computer or peripheral device. USB internal DC power conditioning circuits are used to maintain the proper voltage to the remote device so no external power is required for either the Base or Remote units.
